W20 Australia Representative Anne Fulwood talked about the W20 on the Ten Network in Australia.
Fulwood who has been appointed, along with Associate Professor Susan Harris-Rimmer, as Australia’s first representatives to the W20, said:
“What we wanted to do is to get feedback or input from women representing all of these 20 countries on how we can get greater financial inclusion and greater activity and engagement for women in the work force in all of the countries as well as in private and public boards. This is much more deep engagement because the entrepreneur women of Turkey are the hosts and they are running and chairing W20 this year. So entrepreneurs, enterprising women or women in business are trying to activate or get feedback on how we can get more engagement in the economies of all these nations from women. More engagement will bring more money in to the economy. Confidence and communication and financial business literacy are two keys to engage more women.”
